Created in 1989 to help schools take advantage of educational cable programming and technology, this program has become an important advocate for media literacy education and for the use of technology and media for learning. Cable educational opportunities
  • Schools and libraries receive free cable and modem connections.
  • Various CIC publications offer support materials.
  • Broadband demonstrations provide interactive learning experiences that highlight the power of multimedia.
