Hats off to Tim Easley

MCTA would like to thank Tim Easley from the Inspiration Networks for his unswerving efforts to make the Bill Mullen Memorial Golf Tournament bigger and better each year.

For many years Easley has served on or chaired the golf tournament committee, and this year he received special recognition during the dinner/awards ceremony.

Without his commitment to excellence and attention to details, the golf tournament would not be the successful annual event it is each year.

Thank you Tim Easley!!

Congratulations Charlotte McClure

MCTA Hosts Cable @ the Capitol

January 26,2010, MCTA hosted Cable at the Capitol, and this year approximately 40 MCTA members from a dozen companies came to Jefferson City from to meet their representatives and senators in the Missouri State Legislature.

Among the activities were interviews of statewide officeholders and legislative leaders. Legislators who did not participate in the interviews are
looking forward to developing PSAs in 2010. Another highlight of the event was the evening legislative reception, which was the most heavily attended reception in many years.

When MCTA members attend events like these, they have an important opportunity to speak with legislators one-on-one and develop personal relationships with them. Many attendees voiced their enthusiasm for and enjoyment of the Cable Day at the Capitol activities.

MCTA would like to thank everyone who participated in Cable at the Capitol in 2010, and we look forward to seeing more of you attend in 2011.
